Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Sunday’s trading session in green territory, pushed by the growth of blue chips.
By 11:00 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) went up by 0.75%, or 57.6 points, to 7,753.05 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 15.24 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 440.2 million through 13,450 transactions.
The energy sector topped the risers adding 4.84%, followed by the banking and materials sectors with 1.07% and 0.57%, respectively.
On the negative side, the retailing sector headed the losers falling 0.53%, while the utilities sector retreated by 0.49%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, levelled up by 2.74%, or 101.13 points, to 3,794.2 points.
